In order to control the public use in the zones of intensive and extensive use, of the wild areas which they integrate the National System of Areas of Conservation, settle down the following norms that regulate the biological activities on the part of the visitors of the national parks and reserves. The following dispositions are of fulfillment of the users of the different Areas from Conservation.

RECOMMENDATIONS THAT PREVAIL IN the AREAS OF the SYSTEM OF AREA OF CONSERVATION OF Costa Rica
In order to control the public use in the zones of intensive and extensive use, of the wild areas which they integrate the National System of Areas of Conservation, settle down the following norms that regulate the biological activities on the part of the visitors of the national parks and reserves. The following dispositions are of fulfillment of the users of the different Areas from Conservation.

• To respect the general and specific regulations.
  
• To fulfill the schedule established. To park the vehicles in the zones destined for that aim.
  
• To extract the sweepings of the area or to deposit it in the containers for such effect.
  
• To maintain and to leave cleanings and ordered the facilities and facilities that are allowed them to use.
  
• To denounce before the competent authorities, the execution of acts that any person against the values of the area makes, as well as the contravenciones to the effective dispositions for the use and enjoys the facilities and facilities of the area.
  
• The visitor will be able to only journey by the routes and the footpaths authorized and single will be able to enter to the sectors that the Service of National Parks destines to the public use.
  
• To respect the location of signals, warnings, fences and landmarks. To cancel the canons established for taking of photographies, films or recordings of sound of the natural values to be used with commercial aims.
  
• Not to smoke in areas of high fire risk.
  
• The visitors of the Areas of Conservation, assume the risks that can appear during their permanence and in the use of the facilities that exist in the same ones. It is final prohibited to cause damage to the infrastructure, vegetation, animals or other resources of the area. In order to enter the area and to remain in her it is obligatory to cancel the daily quota of admission and those that correspond, in agreement with the received services.
  
• The exceptions to this point will be exclusively contemplated in Decree N the 21163 MIRENEM.
  
• The visitor must conserve the comprobantes of payment during a permanence in the areas, since they could be solicitd by the civil employees of the Service of National Parks.
  
• It is prohibited to extract firewood of the forest and the environs and to make bonfires with aims of any nature. It is not allowed to exceed the sonorous volume of the equipment sound, recorders, radios or other equipment.
  
• In the areas of the System it is prohibited the consumption of licor and other drugs in agreement with the established thing in the Law of Sicotrópicos. When it is evident that a person is under the effect of those products, the entrance will refuse to him or in its effect it will be expelled to him from the area.
  
• The entrance to the national parks and biological reserves with arms of any type, machetes either other implementos for the gold extraction or other products or I interest, is prohibited.
  
• It is not allowed to enter the areas with mascots of any type. In agreement with which it shows the effective legislation, Laws No 6084, 7317, 7174 and other connected laws, in the areas are not allowed to hunt nor to extract no type of object or material, by minimum that is. Is prohibited to cause scandals or to need the moral.
  
• To throw remainders of any nature (black or served sweepings, waters, oils, etc.) to the atmosphere (rivers, sea, forest, desert, facilities, etc.) the norms of security for the visitors, as much the written ones as those that verbally distribute the civil employees of the areas, are of obligatory observance.
  
• The breach on the part of the visitor of anyone of the established norms or the directives or recommendations that emit the civil employees of the Service of National Parks, will authorize to keeps parks to expel to the visitor outside the park or reserves.
  
• To make political, commercial propaganda or another one is not allowed within the limits of the national parks and biological reserves.
  
• The fishing within the areas of the System is not allowed, except in those cases, according to indicates article 10 of the Law.
