Option 1
For those who are very interested in natural life of the rainforest, we begin the one and a half tour walk at 3:30 p.m. at the Silencio farm. Through the forest you have the possibility of spotting monkeys and a large variety of birds, including toucans. We end our walk with a refreshing beverage and a magnificent view to Arenal Volcano, where, with a bit of luck, you can see the lava of Costa Rica’s most active volcano (erupting daily since 1968). We conclude the tour by relaxing in the nearby natural hot springs, from where you also can see lava rolling down.

Option 2
Just like option 1, but without the walk in the rainforest. This tour leaves at 5:00 p.m.
Included are: Transportation from and to La Fortuna or surroundings, bilingual naturalist guide, entrance fee to the Silencio natural reserve, beverage and, if desired, entrance fee to the hot springs.
