Stay in the charming Maquenque Eco lodge and paddle and walk in a remote, virgin, northern rainforest. Experience the natural highlights of one of the most remote lodges and virgin rainforests in the country with over 382 species of birds. This trip includes both paddling and walking, and offers the possibility of seeing the rare Great Green Macaw. Day one: Start your trip with a 4 to 5 hour casual morning paddle on Rio Tres Amigos. Day 2: Guests can choose between a later start with breakfast on the balcony while watching the antics of toucans, parrots and many other birds OR an early morning start to hike into the virgin rainforest to experience the diversity and splendor of the flora and fauna.
